Vanessa Regufe

Vanessa is a European Portuguese Teacher from the vibrant northern city of Porto. She was a Trainee Teacher (2014-15) both in Prague and Brno (Czech Republic) and since then she has been teaching students from all over the world, both at schools in the north of Portugal as well as with Instituto Camões.
Vanessa has a BA in Law from Faculdade de Direito da Universidade do Porto and an MA in Teaching Portuguese as a Second and Foreign language from Faculdade de Letras da Universidade do Porto.
Vanessa is currently teaching group and private classes at the Portuguese Language Centre.

Dener Martins

Dener was born and raised in Santo André, near São Paulo City, Brazil. He has been teaching Brazilian Portuguese for several years. He has a bachelor’s degree in Language and Literature from São Paulo State University (UNESP) and a Master’s degree in Modern Foreign Language Teaching from Londrina State University (UEL).
He has experience teaching young learners and adults for different purposes.

Daniele is a Brazilian Portuguese Teacher holding a Bachelor's degree in Brazilian Portuguese and Literature from Universidade Paulista and a Master’s Degree in Portuguese as a Non-Native Language from Universidade Aberta de Lisboa.
She has been teaching Portuguese as a second language for over six years to students of different nationalities and is also a volunteer teacher of Portuguese to immigrants in refugee situations in Brazil.
Daniele enjoys teaching and inspiring students on their journey to learn a new language and culture.

Mariana Almeida

Mariana is a Brazilian Portuguese Teacher from São Paulo. She holds a Teaching Degree in Languages (English / Portuguese) and a Master’s in Social Sciences. Currently she is pursuing a PhD in Social Sciences at the Universidade Federal do ABC (UFABC), in Brazil.
She has experience teaching at universities and language schools and as an examiner of CELPE-Bras, the Certificate of Proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese. For the last three years Mariana has also been teaching Portuguese to refugees in Brazil.

Liz is the Managing Director of the Portuguese Language Centre and has been working with the school since August 2015. She is responsible for the administration, finance, business planning and recruitment areas of the school and enjoys participating in the creative strategy.
